Why Collect Watches
The collection being offered in
our new and exciting vault presentation was accumulated over a 25 – 35
year span. The following pre-requisites were adhered too.
A) Condition: In the majority
of the items high condition was a requirement, you will see many
straight 2’s (In Perfect Condition) in all three categories. Of course
with watches 2 – 400 years of age straight 3’s (In Very Good Condition)
are rare and imply top quality.
B) Rarity: This collector
selected timepieces, boxes and jewelry that were rare and unique. The
scarcer the item the better! So you will see many items with 9 or 10 in
the rarity box (#1 being very common to #10 being extremely rare).
C) Unusual & Variations:
We noticed the collection
contained many unusual variations of different timepieces. This
regiment led this collector to accumulate one of the most exciting
collection of miniature watches ever seen. As these are slowly offered,
we promise, you will be amazed!
D) Investment:
As always true collectors tend
to get involved with rising prices and recognition of higher values on
their pieces. In this case our collector bought some of the finest
investment pieces we have ever had the privilege to own and offer
privately.
