Muckle Case
Capable of a complete mechanical construction, adapted to incase BOTH STEM and KEY winding watches consists in supporting the inner or movement-containing case to revolve on pivotal centers; in providing a pusher to perform several functions, as follows: as a pivot on which the inner or movement containing case revolves; as a pusher to disengage the case-holding spring; as the key in a stem-winding watch, and as a key to rotate the inner or movement-containing case in key winding watches.
It further consists in supplying a suitable packing to the pusher to produce a DUST AND WATER PROOF MOVEMENT-CONTAINING CASE.

The patent for Edward A Muckle's Watch Case is April 3, 1883 and he called it the "Magic Watch Case" in the patent. It has pictures (hand drawn) of the case and how it works, along with many illustrations and measurements.
The patent number is 275,251 The application was first filed on August 5, 1882 with no model.

25. Intricately Carved Signed Ivory Snuff Bottle Circa 1910
The footed wood base is ¾” tall and measures 1-1/4” x 1-5/8” in an oval shape. The carving on the ivory bottle has nice high relief and uses a fierce dragon on the front and a pheasant, with a long plumage on the back. Tapered and carved cap is also threaded. This mint condition toned ivory piece is signed on the recessed bottom. Bottle only measures 2-3/4” tall x 1-5/8” x 1” deep. You don’t have to be a snuff bottle or carved ivory collector to love and respect this piece!
