AJ #1 Spectacular 6.0 Ct. Ruby, 18K White-Gold & Multi-Diamond Lady's Ring C. 1930s: This prestigious red ruby is held securely by four split prongs and enhanced by a border of thirty-two diamonds. These diamonds are of the same size and are flush bead-set. As shown on the picture on page 3 which is a side view, you will notice ninety-four more diamonds are set in the open work below the ruby. This oval faceted red stone has wonderful consistent color and saturation. The overall size of the setting is 13.4 x 14.9mm and sits above the 2.4mm wide band that forms to a size 6-1/2. Mint condition and weighs 5.8 dwts. All of the one hundred twenty-eight diamonds that are used to garnish this ring have a total weight of 2.0 Cts. and are enhanced with millegrain textured borders. AJ #2 Prestigious Platinum & Multi-Diamond Lady's Ring C. 1930s: The center stone of this ring is set above the rest of the design and is held securely through the use of six substantial prongs. Fifty-six stones in total surround the main focal point, that being the 1.52 Ct. brilliant-cut diamond which is centered and the highest in this design. The fifty-six other stones are pear and brilliant rounds and are enhanced with wonderful open work detail. The design measures 19.4mm across and the platinum has a polished finish. The fifty-six other stones have a total weight of 4.17 Cts. A pear-shaped diamond is raised prong-set on all four sides of the main stone. The 6.2mm wide tapered band forms to a size 6-5/8. AJ #5 Striking 18K Yellow-Gold, Multi-Diamond & Polychrome Insect Brooch C. 1870s: The overall size of this very substantial insect, that being a beetle, measures 1-1/2 x 2-1/2" and features a collection of five jade stones, two rubies and thirty-five rose-cut diamonds. These sparkling diamonds have a total weight of 1.8 Cts. The jade and diamonds are flush-set with two rubies which are round and faceted being raised prong-set. The beetle has a polished and satin finish accent and the polychrome colors are that of a lime green, medium blue, cobalt blue and orange enamel. AJ #8 Desirable Shell Cameo Habille & 14K White-Gold Lady's Brooch Pendant C. 1915: The overall size of this oval-shaped mint condition piece is 41.5 x 50.5mm and features a very detailed bust design of a well dressed young woman. Diamond jewelry in the form of a brooch and an earring have been adapted to this shell cameo when it was originally made. The oval-shaped cameo is bezel-set in white-gold and the perimeter is then enhanced with extensive open work designs that used beaded edge wire and foliate and flower designs. The near mint condition combination weighs 18.1 dwts. and even the raised relief elk head possesses two ruby stones for eyes. AJ #11 Spectacular Six Strand Custom Made Lady's Bracelet C. 1950s: This 18K yellow-gold polished finish and pearl bracelet measures 8" long and features six strands of various colors around the pearls. Each pearl is individually connected with a yellow-gold wire and the colors range from light raspberry, silver to silver-gray with lots of luster. The two strands terminate to a silver slide clasp with button release and this is embellished with a coral stone bezel mounted in the center, it measures 11mm in diameter. AJ #15 Variegated Lady's Jade Bangle-Style Bracelet C. 1940s: The outside diameter measures 3-1/8" with the inside diameter measuring 2-3/8". The bracelet itself has a 9.5mm wide round diameter. The variegation is a medium moss green with medium to light white jade. The mint condition polished finish bracelet is thought by some to bring tranquility to peoples lives.
